About us
The family-owned Caves Berna in Ahn on the Luxembourg Moselle has focused on top-quality vineyard and winemaking practices for three generations. Spanning 8 hectares in prime vineyard sites around the village, the estate cultivates Luxembourg’s signature grape varieties—Elbling, Rivaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay. Winemakers Marc and Raymond craft a diverse, expressive range of wines from these grapes.
Caves Berna emphasizes varietal expression, carefully balancing acidity and sweetness. The wines’ characteristic mineral notes and fruitiness come from the shell limestone and Keuper soils of the northern Luxembourg Moselle. Throughout production, sustainable practices are observed to respect the vineyards and nature. Modern cellar technologies ensure precise winemaking, supporting a consistently high-quality product.
