Domaine Häremillen is located in the charming wine village of Ehnen, directly on the Luxembourg Moselle. Founded in 1988 by Max Mannes, a former economics teacher who followed his passion for wine, the estate has been run since 2021 by his daughter, Michèle Mannes, bringing fresh energy and a creative vision to the family legacy.
The estate is named after the historic watermill once powered by the “Mutterbach” stream—now lovingly restored. Its waters shape not only the history of the property but also the unique atmosphere visitors experience while tasting wines in the old mill building.
The vineyard spans around 15 hectares across the region, with plots in Ahn, Palmberg, Kelterberg, Rosemen, Wousselt, Grevenmacher, Machtum, Wormeldange, and other notable sites. Häremillen emphasizes variety, producing white, rosé, and red wines as well as Crémants, with specialties like Strohwein showcasing unique expression and flavor.
In the cellar, winemaker Andreas Krebs carefully oversees all production—from fruity Rieslings and elegant Pinot Blancs and Pinot Gris to complex late-harvest wines. Each wine reflects the Moselle terroir: mineral, playful, sometimes smoky, always full of character.
