Domaine Kox
About us
Domaine Kox in Remich on the Luxembourg Moselle is a historic family estate with roots dating back to 1909. François Kox (1919–2004) began professional grape cultivation, and in 1977 his son Laurent Kox, after training in Luxembourg and Germany, took over the winery. Under his guidance, the estate evolved into a modern operation, managing every step from vineyard care to winemaking and marketing in-house.
Today, the estate spans around 12 hectares, stretching from Schwebsange to Stadtbredimus. The cellar has been expanded several times, most recently in 2008, to meet growing demands. Domaine Kox is guided by four core values: passion, respect for the vineyard, creativity, and winemaking expertise. This philosophy combines traditional methods with innovative techniques to bring out the full potential of classic Moselle varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, and Gewürztraminer.
Nature is equally important. Since 2014, the estate’s own beehives have promoted biodiversity in the vineyards. By blending regional heritage with modern sustainability and innovation, Domaine Kox produces wines that are true ambassadors of Luxembourg’s wine culture.
