Domaine Sunnen-Hoffmann produces terroir driven wines on the Luxembourg Moselle, guided by a philosophy rooted in respect for nature. Certified organic (LU-BIO-05), the estate works its vineyards with the aim of expressing both grape variety and site with clarity and authenticity.
The vineyards are spread across several renowned Moselle slopes in Wintrange, Schwebsange, Remerschen and Schengen. Clay based soils, often influenced by limestone, combined with predominantly south and southeast exposures, create ideal conditions for varieties such as Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Rivaner and Pinot Noir. Old vines in selected parcels contribute depth, minerality and complexity to the wines.
Since 2000, the estate has fully embraced environmentally respectful viticulture, minimizing inputs and promoting healthy soils and balanced vines. This commitment results in wines that are precise, harmonious and true reflections of their origin.
Beyond the vineyard and cellar, Sunnen-Hoffmann regularly welcomes visitors through tastings, seasonal events and oenotourism experiences, offering an authentic encounter with the diversity of Luxembourg’s Moselle terroirs.
