The Pinot Gris 2024 Sélection 12 comes from the namesake line of Domaine Henri Ruppert – a collection defined by strict grape selection, low yields, and a clear commitment to quality. Positioned between fresh, approachable entry-level wines and complex terroir-driven cuvées, this range is designed to be accessible while still offering remarkable depth and structure.

In the glass, the wine shines a pale yellow to delicate gold. Its bouquet is open and true to the variety: aromas of pear, mirabelle, and peach take the lead, gently layered with a subtle hint of honey. On the palate, it is round and generous, lifted by a crisp, refreshing acidity that adds tension and balance. The fruit lingers beautifully on the finish, leaving a clean and harmonious aftertaste.

The grapes come from carefully tended vineyards in Luxembourg’s Moselle region, harvested selectively to ensure only the healthiest and ripest fruit is used. Vinification takes place mainly in stainless steel, preserving the natural fruit character and varietal purity of Pinot Gris. The result is a wine that captures the essence of its terroir without being overshadowed by oak.

Thanks to its balanced style, the Pinot Gris Sélection 12 is a versatile food companion: perfect with fish, poultry, light meats, mild cheeses, or vegetarian cuisine. At the same time, it’s a wine to enjoy on its own – clear, fruit-forward, and refreshingly straightforward.

With this Pinot Gris, Domaine Henri Ruppert shows how tradition, precision in the vineyard, and modern winemaking come together to create a wine that is both easy to enjoy and distinctly premium.
