Fru by Georges Schiltz - Fairytale

Fairytale from Fru by Domaine Georges Schiltz is a wine with character. It demonstrates that local value creation, artisanal small-scale production and ecological thinking are possible in Luxembourg and that conscious enjoyment need not come from afar. Created for the thirtieth anniversary of Fairtrade Luxembourg, it unites social responsibility with handcrafted quality. The grapes grow along the Sauer River in Rosport on intact soils that retain water and produce healthy vines. There, microclimate and soil define the wine’s personality. Fairytale is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois and Pinot Gris. Pinot Blanc adds elegance, while Auxerrois and Pinot Gris contribute fullness and fruit. Fermented naturally without additives or sugar, it offers ripe fruit and fine balance. Light, playful and full of character, it pairs beautifully with Kniddelen, tender meats or enjoyed on its own.
