The Gewürztraminer Ahn Goellebour originates from the vineyard above the village of Ahn and belongs to the winery's Douceur line, showcasing aromatic wines with a smooth texture and gentle sweetness. The shell limestone soils provide ideal conditions for combining aromatic intensity with clarity and finesse. Domaine Schmit-Fohl, run by the seventh generation and converting to organic cultivation since 2020, blends traditional craftsmanship with a modern, sustainable approach. The wine displays floral, exotic and subtly spicy aromas, supported by freshness, balance and a well-integrated sweetness. On the palate, it is round, structured and elegant with a long finish. A distinctive Gewürztraminer of clear origin and poise, perfect with Asian cuisine, strong cheeses or enjoyed on its own.
